KINESIS and INGENIUM have strengthened their long-standing partnership through a new initiative to develop two Stand-Alone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Sicily and Veneto. The projects, with 100 MVA/400 MWh capacity in Sicily and 75 MVA/300 MWh capacity in Veneto, are strategically located to support the growing demands of the Italian electricity grid. This collaboration builds on their successful joint development since 2019 and further expands their joint portfolio of renewable assets across Italy, which now exceeds 550 MW of solar and Agri-PV and over 1000 MWh of battery storage capacity.

Both companies share a commitment to accelerating the energy transition by delivering high-quality, grid-supportive energy storage solutions that enhance reliability and contribute to decarbonization goals.
